Overview
The Sensor activates when a player or any kind of object passes in front of it. It can be set to operate as a button or switch. The detection range can be set from 1 to 20 blocks, 10 by default.
It can also act as a color sensor if color mode is enabled. Once color mode is enabled, a color palette will appear. There are 40 colors to choose from. After you picked a color, the sensor will only activate if the sensor can see something in the selected range that is painted in the selected color. Color mode does not detect terrain or players, only painted blocks and parts. In Survival Mode, color mode is only available for level 5 Sensors.
